FAU Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger
Feb. 2, 2005
Boca Raton, FL-Florida Atlantic University announced the 2005 signing class of 23 athletes Wednesday afternoon with 22 signing National Letters of intent.
"On paper this is the best class we have signed in the six classes, however, we don't play on paper. They are big strong kids, I'm excited about the quarterback. He will be a good candidate to be our quarterback down the line," said FAU Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger. "We like for the players to come in and challenge, they will be given 29 practices to prove themselves prior to our first game. As a matter of importance this class may be similar to the 2001 and 2002 classes. We will be inexperienced next season possibly playing the best team in America (Louisville)."
