BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University quarterback Rusty Smith and tight end Jason Harmon have been invited to participate in the 2010 Texas vs. the Nation Game.

The duo will join FAU Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger, who coached the 2009 Nation Team to a victory and saw FAU linebacker Frantz Joseph earn Defensive MVP honors.

Events are scheduled to begin Sunday, January 31 and will culminate at 2 p.m. EST at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas.

Ninety-three percent of the 2009 squad signed an NFL contract (111-119). Smith and Harmon become the sixth and seventh players to participate in an all-star game since the program's inception in 2001.
