2001: Joined the team in January…experienced Division I player that made progress as the Spring went on…will compete for a starting spot.

2000: Played for John Smith at the University of Louisville…played in 11 in ’00 on special teams and as a reserve defensive back…tallied seven tackles, five solo…the Cardinals finished the season 9-3 and captured the USA Championship with a 9-2 regular-season record.

1999 at UofL: Got four starts as a sophomore at strong safety…recorded 36 tackles in his first season as a defender…valuable contributor to the Cardinal special teams…career-best 13 tackles in his first start versus Oklahoma…seven more tackles a week later against Eastern Michigan…six stops in a home win over Houston.

1998 at UofL: Served as fifth receiver in Cards’ five wideout set as a rookie…caught five passes for 63 yards in true rookie season of 1998…two catches in the game’s first series to kickstart Cardinal win over Cincinnati…one catch versus Boston College, Southern Miss and Western KY…member of kick cover teams, recording five tackles.

High School: Played for Mike Counsel at Piper High School…a first-team all-Broward County choice by the Miami Herald…grabbed 41 catches for 675 yards and 11 touchdowns…earned three letters in football at Piper…honorable mention All-State team most valuable player after his senior season…held a 25 yard kickoff return average breaking one for 98 yards and a score in 1997…caught six passes for 72 yards in the Broward/Dade All-Star Game…nominated to play in annual Florida Georgia All-Star Game…lettered twice in basketball averaging 15 points and seven rebounds per outing…two-sport athlete (football and basketball).
