At Florida Atlantic University

Assists in the execution of daily operational activities to run and maintain the football program. Serves as a mentor to student athletes to help ensure a balance between sports and academics. Coordinates community service and team building activities and executes class checks to ensure athletes are meeting academic requirements.

At Wagner College

Gage assisted in organizing and maintaining the daily functions of the football program. As a defensive graduate assistant, he helped to lead the team to an appearance in the FCS tournament, which was the first time that any Northeast Conference school has done so. He organized student athlete meetings to support and maintain academic eligibility and improve athletic performance. Also aided in the review of game performance in order to achieve improvement among the defense.

While at Wagner, Gage served as a recreational mentor at The Door - Youth Mentor Department working with at-risk youth to encourage positive behavior and fulfilling their greatest potential.

Playing Career

At Wagner, Gage earned first team All-Conference in the NEC for his defensive performance. He was also named team MVP, Conference Player of the Week, National Player of the Week and a pre-season All-American. Gage received a four-year athletic scholarship and maintained academic eligibility for the duration of his college career.
