2003: Started in 13 games and was an instrumental part of an offensive line that protected an offense that rose to no. 4 national ranking and a no. 2 national rank for passing efficiency...received the game ball following the Nicholls State game.
2002: Earned a starting spot...played in eight games and was among the two-deep in every game...changed his body type between his freshman and sophomore campaigns and pospered under the tutelage of new offensive line coach John Bock.
2001: Missed the first half of the season with a bruised sternum and due to a family emergency...worked his way into the starting line-up as a true freshman...played in the last half home games...one of the strongest player on the team.
High School: Played for Rick Darlington at Apopka High School...finished season with high praise and recognition on the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-District 10 team...Orlando All-Metro team selection...named to the Orlando All-Orange County team and played in both the Metro All-Star Game and the Dixon Ticonderoga All-Star Game...helped to lead his team to the 2000 6A playoffs...listed as one of the top defensive players in central Florida...named the Most Valuable Lineman at the "Down and Dirty Camp"...three-sport athlete (football, track and weightlifting, a sport he earned All-State).
