FAU Football Fell to Miami in Season Opener
Owls lose in first meeting between the two programs
2013: Integral part of team success in 2013 seeing action in every season game...kicked for a total of 3072 yards, averaging 42.7 yards/game, and set a career-high record with a 64-yard punt against FIU...ranked third in Conference USA standings for average yards per punt and ranked 36th in the NCAA...ranked third in punting yards and second in average yards per punt in FAU history...notable punts include a 63-yard kick in both the Rice and Auburn games...named FAU's Special Team MVP and was a three-time FAU game ball winner (at ECU, at Rice and NMSU)...received second team honors from Phil Steele Magazine 2013 Mid-Season All-C-USA team and second team All-Conference.
2012: Joined the squad during camp and quickly became the everyday starter and handled every punt for the squad (68)...the freshman averaged 39.9 punts per game including 14 that were 50+ yards...none were blocked and 16 landed inside the 20...saw four games where he was called into action eight times, all on the road (Georgia, Alabama, ULM and Western Kentucky)...in each of the four games he accumulated more than 300 yards with the Alabama game setting a single-season and career mark of 395 yards...four of his 14 50+ yard boots were at Alabama, including two that fell inside the 20...more than half of his eight punts at Western Kentucky were inside the 20...attempted a field goal in the season opener and was credited with six kick-offs in the first two games...following his first campaign he stands fourth in punt yards, fifth in attempts and third in average per punt.
