2002: Played in every game...attempted 70 of the team's 76 punts...totaled 2734 yards for an average of 39.9 per punt...longest was a 67 yarder against Nicholls State (10-5-02)...eight were touchbacks...six were fair catches and 11 were inside the 20...had two touchdown saving tackles...most active game was against Eastern Illinois (11-16-02) where he was called up 11 times...every game included at least one punt of over 46+ yards...ended the year ranked no. 35 nationally in yards per punt at 39.96.
2001: Ended the 2001 campaign ranked no. 44 nationally with a 38.52 punt average...earned Honorable Mention All-America Honors by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette...tallied 54 punts on the season for a total of 2080 yards...a season high nine punts against Eastern Illinois (11/10/01)....his longest punt was a 58 yarder against Bethune-Cookman...12 punts were recorded as fair catches and 13 were inside the 20...he had only one blocked...was 2-for-4 on field goals and 13-of-13 on the point after.
2000: Practiced both fall and spring despite the system setup not using kickers
Attended Miami Dade South prior to enrolling at FAU.
High School: Played for current FAU Assistant Christ Vagotis at Miami Sunset High School...three-sport athlete (football, soccer and badminton)...as a senior (1998-99) played in the Dade/Broward All-Star game...served as a team captain and earned the team’s MVP honor...named All-Dade County first team...named All-State second team as a punter with 92 attempts and a 46.5 average...was 7-for-8 in field goals with his longest being 50 yards...longest punts were 71, 63 and 58...as a junior (1997-1998) earned second team all-county honors...in the sport of badminton (1998-99) he earned first team all-Dade in doubles...in 1997-1998 earned second team all-Dade in doubles...Sunset won the state championship during both his junior and senior campaigns...academically, was a three-year member of the national honor society and graduated with a 3.51 unweighted average and a 3.91 weighted g.p.a....graduated 81st in a class of 1,000, top 8%...also named homecoming king as a senior and prince as a junior.
