2005: Instrumental part of a strong unit that kept opponents passing game at bay...played in every game, including several as a starting free safety...recorded a total of 27 tackles, including 17 solo tackles...led the team in both interceptions, 4-55 yards, and in blocked kicks, three...recorded a season-high seven tackles against Middle Tennessee...earned interceptions at Kansas, at Arkansas State, at FIU, and his season-long return at home against North Texas.
2004: Saw action in 11 games and showed flashes of a great future career...returned two punts for 41 yards, including 29 yards against at Texas State...had two interceptions, both for more than 40 yards, one returned for a touchdown...longest return was 47 yards at Florida A&M...blocked two kicks, including one that led to a score...ended the season with 13 tackles...had 128 all-purpose yards.
2003: Saw action in eight games, primarily on special teams...recorded three tackles, one against Nicholls and two against Siena...also credited with a breaking up a pass against Siena.
2002: Redshirted...participated in all workouts.
High School: Played for Byron Walker at American Heritage High School...was named honorable mention for All-Sun-Sentinel team...was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball and track).
Personal: Criminal Justice major...son of Aretha and Troy Pindell Sr...born July 18, 1984 in Baltimore, MD, but now resides in Boca Raton, FL.
