2001: Played in every contest (10)...due to injury became the starting center as a true freshman...did an outstanding job adjusting...injured his ankle late in the season, which hampered his off-season conditioning and spring drills...was one of many to leave the state of Florida for the first time...missed spring drills due to his ankle injury.

Coaches Comments Upon Signing: Despite size, plays position well...two-year starter.

Head Coach Dave Dunn: “He’s very, very athletic. He’s a good pass blocker and has very good feet. He was a team captain, was great in the weight room and a great leader. Chris will be a positive in any college program.”
