Earned a second team spot on Phil Steele's 2011 Preseason All-SBC Team (2nd RB)

Was just 72 yards shy of becoming the first FAU player to have back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. 2010: Pre-season All-Sun Belt Conference...in his first game ran for 103 yards...was held below the 100-yard mark the following three games...ran for 153 at ULM for the second time in five games and had a season high two scores...flirted with the mark versus FIU with 96 yards...tallied 143 yards when FAU hosted Louisiana...added catching ability to resume with eight catches for 47 yards and a score...USF held him to a career low as a starter...scored a TD in seven of his last 11 games...sits in second place on the all-time career rushing list...moved into the spot at WKU.

2009: Began the year as an unknown to anyone who had not witnessed his total dominance at the 2009 spring practices and preseason...by season's end he held the Sun Belt Conference rushing title with 1,392 yards, the FAU all-time single season rushing record and had proven FAU's pro-style attack could win through the air and the ground...in his starting debut, Morris rushed for 95 yards at Nebraska on 18 carries it was the fourth most individual rushing yards versus the Cornhuskers in '09...Morris gained 79 at South Carolina and broke the 100 yards plateau, the first of seven times in 2009, versus ULM with 122 on 23 carries...he also scored his first touchdown versus ULM...Morris' score was a four-yard run that put the Owls up 7-3 in the first...it was also the first rushing TD for the Owls in 2009...his next big game came against Louisiana with 147 yards on 29 carries and two scores...his longest run of the day was 11 yards...he also had one catch for 38 yards and earned National Honorable Mention honors by College Performance...Middle Tennessee held him to under 100 yards for the first time in three games but saw him grab three passes for 45 yards, his longest a 33-yard reception...an ankle injury in the MTSU game slowed his game with only a half played against UAB for 60 yards...he played through the injury the remainder of the season and did not have a game with less than 100 yards...Morris had 117 versus Arkansas State with two rushing scores along with a touchdown reception...he had 137 versus Troy which included carrying two Trojan defenders the last five yards for a score...he did not score versus Western Kentucky but did have 122 yards on 25 carries...with the conference rushing title on the line the FAU offensive linemen made it their goal to eclipse the mark and for Morris to earn the title...he obliged with 158 yards and two scores to earn the crown...he ended his sophomore campaign with seven game with 100+ yards, the SBC rushing title, the FAU MVP title, the FAU team Academic Award and the University Male Student Athlete of the Year as honored by the University's Provost...statistically, he led the league in rushing with 1392 yards and finished second in scoring TDs with 13 for a 6.5 average.

Motor City Bowl: Travel squad member.

2008: Played in 11 games...tallied seven carries for 23 yards...longest carry was nine yards versus North Texas....game high was four carries for 18 yards at North Texas...also had 10 tackles on special teams including seven solo tackles.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Played for Jerry Pollard at Pine Forest High School, where he saw action on both sides of the ball...rushed for 1,049 yards as a senior and recorded 17 touchdowns for the Eagles...defensively recorded 147 tackles and five interceptions...named North West Florida MVP, first-team All-State and was a game MVP...named Max Emfirger All-American...participated in the PSA All-Star Game...academically, he was named the student-athlete of the month for Pine Forest.

Personal: Exercise science major...son of Yvonne and Ronald Morris...born in Pensacola, FL...consistent member of the FAU Athletic Department's 3.0 GPA list.
