2001: Gained a reputation as a player who plays full-out, every down...played in six of the team’s 10 games...playing time was limited due to repetitive concussions...tallied 10 solo tackles and 12 tackle assists...earned team’s non-scholarship MVP award...saw his first collegiate action against Jacksonville, FAU’s homecoming game...recorded a solo tackle, two assists, and a pass deflection...averaged three tackles in the games he played.
2000: Earned the label of fierce competitor, however, injuries plagued his progress.

High School: Played for Earl Garcia at Hillsborough High School...rushed 1000 plus yards in 1999...earned the team’s Most Athletic Award...was the 6A state runner and a member of the All-State honorable mention team...earned a scholar Athlete Award and was named a Gridiron Great...two-sport athlete (football and track).
