2009: Played in every game with eight starts...recorded 23 tackles, 4.5 for a loss of nine yards...also credited with two pass break-ups...uses size to his advantage as well as maturity...Joseph's first tackle of the year was for a loss of two yards against Nebraska...recorded a game-high four tackles twice in 2009, the first versus ULM the second at North Texas...of his four UNT tackles two were for a loss of five yards...pass break-ups were both against Western Kentucky.

Motor City Bowl: Recorded four tackles, including one solo.

2008: Played in every game and became more and more integral...tallied 15 solo tackles and 19 assists...set a single-game high of six tackles at ULM and then broke it with seven tackles, including four assists, at Arkansas State...had tackles for a loss at ULM and versus North Texas and FIU...tackle for a loss at North Texas was a sack for a loss of 10 yards...credited with three quarterback hurries at Texas and two against North Texas...broke up a pass versus UAB...earned the team Non-Scholarship MVP honor at seasons end.

New Orleans Bowl: Saw action with the team in the program's first bowl game and first victory.

2007: Played in three games...joined team as a true walk-on but quickly impressed Coach Schnellenberger...saw his first collegiate action against Arkansas State...recorded a tackle against Florida.

High School: Played for Kevin Staefe at Lake Worth High School, where he was named the team's Defensive MVP and was an Honorable Mention All-Star...as a senior he recorded the most tackles (68), tackles for a loss, sacks (13) and hurries on the team.

Personal: Business management major...born Jan. 20, 1985, in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
