2011: Earned a second team spot on Phil Steele's 2011 Preseason All-SBC for punt return...on the season he played in eight games...tallied eight punt returns for a total of 57 yards...longest was 28 yards...recorded one carry for a gain of 11 yards...also credited with three receptions for a total of 23 yards...longest reception was 13 yards.

2010: Saw action in every game primarily on special teams...recorded thee tackles on the season...his first collegiate tackle was a solo versus USF...his second was an assist at USF...he added another at Western Kentucky...offensively, Jones recorded two carries for a gain of one yard at USF...his first collegiate punt return was FAU's home game, at Ford Field versus Arkansas was a six yard return...he set his career long of 22 yards at Arkansas and had 29 on the day...a season-high 36 punt return yards was achieved at Western Kentucky on four returns...Jones had two kick returns on the year, a 16 yard return at USF and a 13-yarder versus Troy.

2009: Redshirted but not before exciting fans during preseason scrimmages.

High School: Played for Bill Kelley at Treasure Coast High School where he accounted for 24 touchdowns (22 rushing, two receiving) and 1,601 yards of total offense (1,404 rushing, 197 receiving) as a senior...named all-area by the Palm Beach Post...played in the Outback All-Star Game...named three-sport athlete in high school (football, basketball and track).
