2011: Saw action in nine games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams.
High School: Played for Ron Parker at St. Lucie West Centennial High School where he recorded 104 carries for 620 yards, an average of 5.9 yards per carry with 12 touchdowns...playing on both sides of the ball, he also had 85 tackles and four fumble recoveries as a senior...his career efforts included 1,870 yards on 258 carries with 24 touchdowns and an average of seven yards per carry...earned first team All-Treasure Coast and played in the "Outback Bowl" All-Star Game...two-sport athlete (football and track where he ran the 100, 400 and 800).
Personal: Son of Russ Giles and Lisa Roberts...born Feb. 27, 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, FL...Giles attended the FAU team camp and after three years of learning about FAU his decision was made...also had interest from Rutgers and Georgia Tech
