2009: Saw action in every game...recorded 19 tackles on the season...recorded a career high five tackles, four solo, at UAB...surpassed his mark versus Western Kentucky with eight, including five solo...led the defensive backs with two interceptions...his first was at Louisiana for no return...his second was versus WKU and included a return of 15 yards...also had eight tackles versus the Hilltopers...recorded one pass breakup on the year...also saw time on special teams.
2008: Practiced with the squad and used the year as a redshirt season.
High School: Played for Mark Guandolo at Cypress Bay High School where he led the team in tackles as both a junior and as a senior...grabbed four interceptions and scored on one...earned second-team all-county honors and started in the Broward County North versus South All-Star Game...two-time defensive MVP...two-sport athlete (football and track).
