Motor City Bowl: Second on the team with five receptions...tallied 70 yards, his longest reception was 24 yards.

• Named 2008 Second Team All-Sun Belt
• Miami Herald first team all-state

2008: Listed first on the depth chart the final two weeks of preseason... returned as the tight end with the most catches heading into camp...leads the Sun Belt Conference in yards...UAB performance was praised by Schnellenberger...tallied three catches for 50 yards and several were athletic grabs...led all receivers against Troy...scored his second career touchdown versus Troy, both collegiate scores came against the Trojans...surpassed his combined yards total from his first two seasons half way through 2008...had seven catches for 80 yards including a touchdown reception with :18 remaining to tie the FIU game at 50...had two TD receptions versus FIU...ended his junior campaign second among with 45 catches and 642 yards with four scores...he did this splitting time with Rob Housler. New Orleans Bowl: Had a 14-yard reception.

2007: Played in 11 games and was a part of the two-tight end set at mid- year....recorded 16 receptions for 127 yards for a average of 7.9 yards per catch...longest reception was 27 yards at Florida...had a season-high three receptions versus Minnesota and versus Louisiana-Monroe.

2006: Played in every game...recorded 12 receptions for 135 yards...his longest reception was 19 yards and he scored against Troy...had three receptions in a game twice...the first was against ULL, the second was at Middle Tennessee...the two games were also his career highs of 29 and 46, respectively.

2005: Elected to use his first college season as a redshirt season with two four-year seniors occupying the no. 1 and no. 2 spots on the depth chart...had a strong year in the weight room to build blocking strength.

High School: Played for Marty Lee at First Coast High School...saw most of his playing time at wide receiver...tallied 19 catches for 318 yards...two-sport athlete (football and basketball...served as the basketball team captain for a team that was 18-3 and ranked second in the state).

Personal: Communication major...son of Sheila Grant...born Sept. 23, 1986, in Jacksonville, FL.
