Wilbert earns Team Endurance Award and Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams MVPs announced
2011: Receiver who showed a tremendous upside....injured his ankle during the Fanfest by a ball deep in the end zone that carried him into the crowd...saw action in all but one game...recorded his first collegiate catch, as a true freshman, versus Florida...his next two catches came in the FAU stadium opener versus Western Kentucky...he recorded a catch in the next five games including a season-high four at FIU and a game-high 27, including his longest reception, 17 yarder, of the season...also saw time with special teams...recorded two tackles on the year, both solo...first collegiate tackle was versus Middle Tennessee his second the following game versus Arkansas State.
High School: Played for Manny Martin at Dillard High School where as a senior he recorded 47 receptions for 876 yards and eight touchdowns, an accomplishment only magnified by the team's run-dominated attack...received North/South Broward as well as a Public versus Private all-star game invites...recorded four receptions for 75 yards in the North/South all-star game, including a 13-yard touchdown reception ...highlighted by the Miami Herald...two-sport athlete (football and track: as a junior he ran the 110 high hurdles, the 300 IM hurdles and participated in the high jump)...his size and speed along with a 4.6 40 make Dukes a real threat which was also recognized by Western Kentucky, Western and Central Michigan as well as Minnesota.
