2013: Made the transition from quarterback to long snapper.

2012: After a close battle at quarterback, Curtis drew the start in the season opener...completed for of 10 passes in the first half of the Wagner game for a total of 37 yards...also tallied seven carries for 27 yards...saw action in a total of five games...on the season he recorded 10 carries for 34 yards with the longest being a seven yarder.

2011: Began the year neck and neck for the third spot among quarterbacks...took advantage of every opportunity and moved into the number two spot and never relinquished...traveled each game and saw action in five...tallied 18 carries on the year...recorded positive yards in three games (Western Kentucky 4-1, Middle Tennessee 4-5 and Troy 5-2)...was 10-21 for 90 passing yards with a long of 17 yards...most productive outing was versus Middle Tennessee with five yards rushing and 31 passing...his season high in passing was a 4-8 for 42 passing yards at FIU, including a game long 17 yard connection.

2010: Traveled with the team...used the fall as a redshirt season and the spring to vie for the starting quarterback spot.

High School: Played for Paul Sorrells, who played his collegiate career at Furman University...during his three-year career at Sumter High School, he threw for 6,765 yards and recorded 76 touchdowns...also collected 1,071 yards on the ground for 29 scores...served as the team's captain as a senior and was a first team statewide selection grades 10-12 and an all-region selection... led team as a junior to the state finals as a senior guided Sumter to an 11-3 record...three-sport athlete (football, basketball as an 11th grader, but found success at a young age and carried it through in baseball)...earned second team all-state honors as a 10th grader, first team honors as an 11th grader, as well as being named "Region Player of the Year"...only eighth-grader to participate on the 2006 State Baseball Championship team...played in the Little League Texas Championship World Series at 2008 he played no. 12 Byrnes in the South Carolina AAAA Championship game and was ranked no. 17 in South Carolina's "players to watch")...academically: member of Boys State.

Personal: Majoring in finance...son of Steve and Betsy Curtis...born and raised in Sumter, SC...relative of former Clemson University offensive lineman Dalton Freeman.
