2011: Began the spring by moving from defensive end to outside linebacker...saw action in 10 games, including starting the first eight games before he was sidelined with an ankle injury...returned for the two of the last three...recorded 39 tackles on the year including 27 solo...began the year versus Florida with five solo and one for a loss of four yards...recorded six at Michigan state and three at Auburn before opening Sun Belt play with seven at Louisiana...final start of the season he posted five tackles...had a season-high two tackles for a loss twice...at Louisiana it was a loss of 11 yards and versus Middle Tennessee it was for a loss of 19 yards...will return in 2012 third in tackles for a loss...recorded 1.5 sacks on the year...his first was an assist at Michigan State for a loss of three yards...his solo sack was Middle Tennessee loss of two yards...recorded his first collegiate interception and returned it for 14 yards at Auburn...rewarded with six quarterback hurries on the year and is the team's leading returner in that category.

2010: Joined the team in January, participated in conditioning drills as well as spring drills...had a fantastic fall with action in every game and drew three starts...recorded his first college tackle at UAB, two for the game...recorded a tackle in every game played except one...had a season-high five at ULM, including three assists...had his first tackle for a loss, a sack for a loss of 11 yards...had a tackle for a loss in nine of the 12 games played...recorded a sack in five of the 12 games played...led the Owls with five sack, 25% of the team's total sacks...his eight tackles for a loss placed the freshman in a tie for No. 16 among Sun Belt Conference member, the only freshman to earn a spot on the list...he was tied for eighth, among SBC schools, in sacks and the only freshman on the SBC's top-10 sack list...earned a fourth team spot on Phil Steele's all-freshman team...he was just one of two SBC players to make Steele's list and the only defensive player.

High School: Played for Harold Barnwell in his final two years at Carol City High School and Harold Barnwell his first season...recorded 60 tackles, including 14 sacks as a senior...also credited with five forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered, one for a touchdown...earned first-team all-state and first-team all-county...played in the Dade vs. Broward All-Star Game, a game that he blocked a field goal to preserve the Dade County win, and in the North vs. the South All-Star Game...presented the 2008-09 Florida Defensive Player-of-the-Year Award by the South Florida Touchdown Club for 4A, 5A, 6A.
