Question from Mae
Hi Coach Walters,
I wanted to know what role will Paul Graham play this year and will he be getting a lot more playing time. I love to see him in action. He is a very talented player and a hard worker with great athletic ability. I am one of his biggest fans. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the FAU summer camp and he was a pleasant young man that didn't hesitate to sign autographs for my kids along with some good basketball advice. My son can't wait to see him in action this season. So, good luck to the FAU Owls men's basketball team.
Response from Head Coach Rex Walters
Thanks for the email. Paul is a very talented young man and brings a lot to the team in an awful lot of areas. My stance on playing time is pretty simple. Do the things that we ask you to do and you will increase your playing time and role on the team. You are right about a lot of things and I also saw and really appreciated the time and effort that Paul put into our camp and our campers. He really loves working with kids and the kids really get a kick out of Paul. It is a goal of mine to have a camp that our campers have a great time and also learn about the great game of basketball. Please spread the word about our camp because we want it to be bigger and better in every way. Thanks again for the email and I look forward to seeing you at our games....November 2nd will be our First Exhibition Game!!!!
