Dear Coach Walters,

Congratulations on your appointment as Head Coach. I sincerely look forward to the upcoming season. Regarding this season's roster, are there any players who are not returning or any recruits who will not join the team? In recruiting the talent you have, I think you have positioned FAU in a very good place win the Sun Belt Conference.

Also, will you be holding Coach's forums at the Holiday Inn again this year?

I am very happy with the team that we have right now. We did lose four great seniors and will definitely miss them. We will also miss David Manning, Kevin Green, and Ty McTyer. They are all looking to go to a school where can get more playing time. I wish them all the best and hope that they find what they are looking for.

I am looking forward to getting out in the community and talking a little basketball. Matt Doherty did quite a few things in Boca Raton and in Palm Beach County and I welcome the opportunity to get out there as well. Thanks again for the interest and please introduce yourself when you come to a game.

Where is the Marist game going to be played? MSG or on their campus? When is the schedule going to be put out? What are some of the games?

Response from Coach Walters At the current time we are playing Marist at their gym in Poughkeepsie, New York. We have not yet finalized our schedule, but when we do release it, you will see that we are not backing down from the so-called Big Schools.
