BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team will open its conference schedule this week when both South Alabama and Arkansas State come to The Burrow.
The Owls (2-3) went just 7-9 in Sun Belt play last season, but will play 20 conference games this weekend after the Sun Belt revamped its conference schedule after Denver's departure. USA won both of last season's meetings, including a 79-76 overtime win in Boca. Preseason First Team All-Sun Belt selection had 31 points and 11 rebounds in his last game, a 75-73 loss to Georgia State. FAU guard Greg Gantt averaged 17 points in two meetings with South Alabama last season.
Thursday's game against South Alabama begins at 7 p.m. and live stats and live audio of the game are available here. Single game and season tickets can be purchased by calling the FAU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
