BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the Eastern Division, according to a poll of the conference head coaches.

The poll was released as part of the conference's Media Days which will be held via teleconference on October 27-28.

The Owls finished the 2008-09 campaign with a 6-26 record, but return three starters from last year's squad and will welcome a highly regarded recruiting class.

The Sun Belt also released its television schedule for the upcoming season. FAU's December 12 matchup against Louisiana-Lafayette will be broadcast on the Sun Belt Network.
