Men’s Basketball Pfister, Troutman Named to NABC Honors Court

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University men's basketball rising seniors William Pfister and Gerdarius Troutman were selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the NABC announced Tuesday. The Honors Court recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled academically during the 2016-17 season.

The individual awards come after last week’s recognition of the Owls by the NABC for their team academic achievement. Troutman, who holds a 3.83 grade point average while majoring in Communications. He made the Dean’s List for being ranked in the top 10 percent of his college in addition to being named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team. Pfister currently carries a 3.63 GPA in Urban and Regional Planning.
