BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University men's basketball players Jackson Trapp and Justin Raffington have been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the conference office announced today.

The announcement was made in advance of the Conference USA Basketball Tournament, which will take place from Tuesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 15, in El Paso, Texas.

Trapp, a sophomore from Orlando, is averaging 9.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while holding a 3.35 GPA in pre-business. He had a career-high 23 points in the Owls' season opener and has had nine double-figure scoring games this season.

A transfer from San Francisco, Raffington is the team's leading rebounder at 8.6 per game and averages 10.0 points per game, good for third on the team. Earlier this season, he tied a school record by posting double-doubles in six straight games. The Freiburg, Germany native has nine double-doubles on the year and has a 3.48 GPA while majoring in economics.

FAU will face rival FIU at 7:30 tonight at the FAU Arena, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus, for Senior Night before leaving for the C-USA tournament.
