TONIGHT'S GAME: FAU (12-10, 8-3 Sun Belt) is the hottest team in the Sun Belt, having won five consecutive games and seven of its last eight games. Tonight's matchup is a meeting of two of the highest scoring teams in the conference. FAU is second in scoring at 75.5 ppg and North Texas is third at 74.4 ppg.

North Texas: The Mean Green (13-8, 6-5) return home after splitting at two road games last week. UNT defeated Western Kentucky 84-83 in overtime on Thursday, before losing to Middle Tennessee State 69-64 on Saturday night.
LAST TIME OUT: FAU defeated rival FIU 106-88 on Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd at the Burrow. Greg Gantt had 25 points and Shavar Richardson added 22 for the Owls. Alex Tucker had 16 assists in the win. The 16 set a school record and tied Kentucky's John Wall for most in a game this season.
THE SERIES: UNT leads the series 3-1. The Mean Green won both of last season's meetings, including a 79-73 win over FAU in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament.
