TONIGHT'S GAME: FAU (11-10, 7-3 Sun Belt) is the hottest team in the Sun Belt, having won four consecutive games and six of its last seven games, including four in a row at home. It marks FIU head coach Isiah Thomas' first trip to the Burrow.
TV/RADIO/INTERNET: All of FAU's games this season (home and away) air on live commercial radio ESPN - 760 AM with audio links available on FAU's official athletics website FAUSPORTS.com. Ken LaVicka (play-byplay) will call the game for ESPN760.
FIU: The Golden Panthers (7-16, 4-6 Sun Belt) are playing for the first time since a 96-81 win over UALR last Saturday. Marvin Roberts had 28 points for FIU. JC Otero added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Golden Panthers.
LAST TIME OUT: FAU beat South Alabama 70-59 in Mobile on Thursday night. The game was tied at 53 with just over five minutes remaining before the Owls went on a 13-0 run to put the game away. Greg Gantt led all scorers with 21 points.
THE SERIES: FIU leads the series 14-9. (The Golden Panthers vacated
one win due to NCAA violations). FIU won both meetings last season
including a 58-53 win in Boca Raton.
