BOCA RATON, FL - Head men's basketball coach Mike Jarvis and the rest of his coaching staff will wear sneakers to Saturday's game against Western Kentucky to help raise awareness about the fight against cancer.

Basketball coaches nationwide will wear sneakers with their suits this weekend to demonstrate their support for the American Cancer Society and its vision of a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Basketball fans are encouraged to also wear sneakers to games that weekend to show their support.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a collaborative initiative of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers coaches, their teams and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Saturday's game against Western Kentucky is a "White Out", fans are encouraged to wear white to the game. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised on Fox College Sports. Live audio will be available at www.fausports.com.
