BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team will play two games that could prove crucial when they travel to Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

Although only five games into the 20-game conference schedule, this week's games could have long lasting ramifications for both the regular season race as well as seeding for the conference tournament.

The Owls can give themselves a great early advantage with a pair of victories this week as they play two divisional rivals. Middle Tennessee (12-4, 4-1) is currently leading the East while Western Kentucky (10-7, 4-2) is tied with South Alabama for second in the East.
