BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team had a triumphant return to FAU Arena, defeating Warner 83-50 on Sunday.

Defense was the theme of the afternoon as the Owls (5-4) held the Royals (6-5) to just 26.7% shooting from the field. That is the lowest field goal percentage of any FAU opponent this season.

Offensively, Greg Gantt once again paced the Owls with 19 points. He was joined in double figures by Stefan Moody (18) and Pablo Bertone (13). Dragan Sekelja had a game high 11 rebounds.

The game was close until the midway point of the first half, when FAU went on a 36-9 run over the course of 12 minutes sealed the Royals' fate. At one point during the scoring spree, the Owls scored 11 unanswered points.

All 14 players on the Owls' roster saw action and 12 players scored. FAU will travel to Dayton on Saturday to play the Flyers. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. eastern. The game will be televised on WHIO in Ohio and free live video will be available at
