- Payton Hulsey came off the bench and scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.
- The difference in the game was shooting percentage, as Towson made 31 of its 58 attempts from the field (53.4%), while the Owls converted just 19 of their 61 shots (31.1%).
FAU Head Coach Michael Curry
“(Towson) is a really good defensive team. You have to move the ball and play with aggression.”
“We have to make shots. I told (the team) after the game, that the runs (we give up) at the start of the game is never because of our defense, it’s always because we’re not making shots. We have to step up and make shots.”
