LITTLE ROCK, AR - Stefan Moody scored a career high 24 points, but the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team lost 65-62 on Thursday night.

FAU (10-11, 5-5 Sun Belt) built a lead as big as 22 in the first half on the strength on seven first half three pointers, including four from Moody. The Trojans (13-9, 7-4) managed to whittle the Owls' lead down single digits with 9:58 remaining. UALR got the deficit to six, but FAU was able to immediately push its lead back to eight. UALR was within three when Dragan Sekelja broke free for a layup to put the Owls back up five with 4:10 on the clock. UALR scored on its next two trips to make it a one-point game, and after Greg Gantt made one of two free throws the Trojans made a jumper from the top of the key tied the score at 60-all with just under two minutes left.

FAU was unable to convert on its next trip down the court, and the Trojans made one of two at the line to close out the victory. The Owls move on to play Arkansas State on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. eastern and will be televised on the Sun Belt Network (CSS locally). The game will also be shown on ESPN3.com.
