Freshman (2008-09): Key part of Florida Atlantic's team as a true freshman... Electrified crowds at times with dunks and his ability to finish around the rim... Scored a season-high 12 points in his first collegiate game vs. Monmouth (11/14/08), going 5-for-5 from the field... Three nights later, started and pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds and scored 10 points at Arizona (11/17/08) in the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament in Tucson... Started in seven of FAU's first nine games... Went through an 11-game stretch from January 15th through February 18th where he started in each game... Had 10 points and cleared nine rebounds at New Orleans (2/5/09)... Led the team in field goal % for most of the season... Finished the year shooting 46.3% from the field, averaging 4.2 points and 3.7 rebounds.
