Brian Remington

Florida Atlantic University's athletic department hired Brian Remington as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in July of 2008.

Remington holds a Master's Degree in Applied Physiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he served as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach from 2005-2008. Remington was an integral part of an emerging Bulls' football program which won the Mid-American Conference East Division title in 2007.

His professional experience is impressive. In addition to three full seasons working at the NCAA Division I level at the University of Buffalo, Remington served as a strength and conditioning consultant for the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers and directed all strength and conditioning efforts for both the Black Watch Premier Soccer Club (NY West) and Buffalo's Victory Athletix Sports Performance Center.

A native of Arvada, Colorado, Remington received a football scholarship from Adams State College and played collegiately there for one season until suffering a career ending knee injury in 2001.

He went on to finish his undergraduate coursework at the University of Northern Colorado where he earned National Dean's List honors while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition in 2005.

During his time at Northern Colorado, Remington gained experience as a student assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Bears assisting with football and directly responsible for the strength training of the women's golf, as well as the, women's tennis and women's swimming and diving teams; both of which won the NCAA independent championship in their respective sport.

After graduating, he joined the sports performance staff at Arizona State University working with many of the sports including the nationally ranked Sun Devil football team.

He currently resides in Boca Raton with his wife Jessica.
