Senior (2008-09): Injury and eligibility issues resulted in a disappointing senior season... Monroe had been tabbed as the preseason Sun Belt Conference "Player of the Year" by a number of college basketball publications, including The USA Today... Was also named a preseason mid-major All-American by CollegeHoops.net... Starred in FAU's two exhibition victories, scoring 21 versus Lynn (11/5) and clearing 16 rebounds against Rollins (11/10) but was forced to sit out the first nine games due to an NCAA eligibility issue... Returned for five games from Dec. 16-Jan. 1, then missed another game due to academics... Scored a season-high 23 points at Troy (12/18) in his second game back in the lineup... A foot injury caused him to miss 11 games from Jan. 10-Feb. 14... Only played in 11 of FAU's 32 games... His 508 points in 2007-08 was the fifth-best single-season scoring performance in FAU history... Led the team in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (9.5)... Only player in the Sun Belt to finish in the top-seven in points and rebounds... Finished third in the Sun Belt in scoring (18.4) and 56th nationally... Freshman (2005-06): Named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshmen Team... Averaged 11.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 17 games... Second on the team in shooting (54.5%)... Scored in double figures in 11 games... Finished the season 28th in conference scoring (11.6) and 10th in field goal percentage (54.9%)... Shot 60.0% or better from the field in 10 of 17 games... Team went 5-0, shot 55.7% from the field and had +5.6 rebounding margin in his first five games, a stretch in which he shot 61.9% and averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds...
