Junior (2011-12): Played in 27 games with two starts... had a career-high 10 points at Harvard (12/22/11) while shooting a perfect 4-4 from the field... recorded a career-high nine rebounds against Middle Tennessee (1/4/12) with season-highs for offensive rebounds (four) as well as defensive (five).

Sophomore (2010-11): Played in 20 games on the year, had career highs in points (eight) and rebounds (six) in 18 minutes against DePaul (12/22/10), in first action since missing time due to illness...scored four points against Florida Memorial (1/3/11)...saw significant action against Middle Tennessee (1/27/11), at North Texas (2/3/11) and at Denver (2/10/11).

Freshman (2009-10): Appeared in 22 games, with two starts...had two points and four rebounds in 12 minutes vs. SE Louisiana (11/16/09)...scored career-high seven points and had three boards in 19 minutes vs. Louisiana (12/12/09)...tallied two points, four rebounds and a steal in first career start vs. New Orleans...returned to hometown area with two points and three rebounds in game vs. Maryland (12/27/09)...snatched three rebounds in 13 minutes vs. UALR (1/21/10).

Prep: Played for the storied basketball program at Coolidge High School in Washington D.C... led Coolidge to a combined 48-18 record and back-to-back appearances in the District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association (DCIAA) final four... earned Coolidge MVP honors as a senior... consistently posted double-doubles in points and rebounds... honored three times as an All-DCIAA forward... All-DCIAA twice at Coolidge and also while playing for M.M. Washington High School as a sophomore... helped M.M. Washington reach the 2007 DCIAA City Title game... named a 2009 DCIAA `Top Player' by the Washington Post... ESPN RISE 2009 All-Area Greater DC honoree... started and blocked six shots in the 36th Annual Capital Classic All-Star Game... 2009 McDonalds All-America nominee... all-tournament team selection at Gonzaga's 20th Annual D.C. Classic... named a top senior prospect by and all-tournament team pick and `Player of Note' at the 2009 Hoop Magic N.O.V.A. vs. Nation event... 2008 Kenner Summer League All-Star game MVP at Georgetown's McDonough Arena ... invited to play at the Eastern Invitational Basketball exposure camp... Sports Groove `Player of the Week' award winner... coached by former DeMatha Catholic High School (Hyattsville, Md.) and George Washington University standout Vaughn Jones at both Coolidge and M.M. Washington.

Personal: Son of Ethel Mattison... honor roll and principal list student, graduating with honors from Coolidge High School with a GPA of 3.9... also recruited by Harvard, Lafayette, Dartmouth and Cornell... National Honors Society member.
