Nov. 5, 2012

Boca Raton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University baseball team will conclude its fall practices with a special three-game Fall World Series, beginning on Wednesday, November 7. The series will continue through Friday, November 9.

The games on Wednesday and Thursday will begin at 3:40 p.m. and Friday at 2:20 p.m. at the FAU Baseball Stadium. All sessions are free and open to the public.

Owls' players will be split evenly into two teams being coached by assistants Dickie Hart and Rich Billings.

This has been a productive fall for the FAU program, led by Head Coach John McCormack. The team defeated Team British Columbia and has played several intra-squad scrimmages. The winner of the 2012 Iron Owl Award competition will also be announced at the end of the preseason practice period.
