Summer League (`01): Played in the Valley League for the Luray Wranglers. Led the team in stolen bases (11). Was second on the team with a .375 OB %. Had a .250 average with two HR and 12 RBI.

As a Junior (`01): Started the season on the bench but quickly became an every day starter. Was a versatile defensive player as he was moved between left field and first base. Led the team in batting average (.371), doubles (16), and hits (75). Had a season-high four hits against Stetson on April 27. Had a team-high and game-high six RBI while compiling two doubles against Campbell (3/24). A team-high 17 game hitting streak came to an end with a 0-4 showing in the conference tournament against Jacksonville. Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors as a designated hitter.

JUCO: Played for Mike Jones at Dodge City Community College. As a sophomore earned All-Conference honorable mention honors with a .375 batting average, 13 home runs and 67 RBI. As a freshman earned First Team All-Conference honors after hitting .441, five homers and 44 RBI.
