As a Junior (2006): Started the season as a starter making four starts before working out of the bullpen...made 10 appearances out of the bullpen in March and April to earn a 3-0 record with a 2.45 ERA in 25 2/3 innings...only gave up three extra base hits during that span...returned to the rotation on May 6 against Lipscomb...pitched 8 2/3 innings and only allowed one earned run...most successful outing came on May 25 at the conference tournament against no. 1 seed Jacksonville pitching a complete game and striking out a career-high seven batters to pick up his team-leading seventh win...earned one save on the year against East Tennessee State on May 19 with one inning of work...in conference play he posted a 3-0 record, one save and 2.11 ERA in 38 1/3 innings...made two starts and 10 appearances and held opponents to a .233 batting average.
Summer League (2005): Played with Alex Silversmith and Chris Salberg for the National Baseball Congress National Champion Prairie Gravel...finished the summer with a 2.65 ERA, 1-0 record and 18 strikeouts in 17 innings of work.
JUCO: Played at South Suburban College where former FAU All-American Dan Jackson played...coached by Steve Ruzich and earned All-Region and Third-Team All-America honors while breaking three pitching records.
High School: Holds nine pitching records at Highland High School where he played for Dan Miller...four-time All-Conference, three-time All-Area and two-time All-State recipient...two-sport athlete: baseball and basketball.
