As a senior (2008): For the second consecutive season led the FAU pitching staff in victories... Began the year as the closer and the league coaches recognized Obradovich as one of the top pitchers in the Sun Belt Conference prior to the season... Very durable pitcher, working 64 2/3 innings and facing a staff-high 271 batters... Was very effective once moved back into a starting role on April 9... Went 5-3 in eight starts from April 9 through the end of the season... Walked just 13 batters in 52 1/3 innings during that span... Named the WCC Pitcher of the Week (4/14) after dominating the nation's No. 1 team, the University of Miami, on their home field on Wednesday, April 9... Obradovich struck out seven in eight-plus innings to allow FAU a 6-3 victory over UM... At the time it was the longest outing by an FAU pitcher in 2008 and the longest an opposing starter had lasted against a Miami team that was hitting .343 as a team and went on to be the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament at season's end... The win was a historic one for FAU, having never beaten a No. 1 opponent in its Division I era in any sport...Went eight complete innings in his next start, striking out a career-high 10 without allowing a walk in a winning-effort at NYIT (4/19)... Pitched FAU to victory in a do-or-die game at the Sun Belt Conference Championship, defeating Middle Tennessee St. (5/22)... Never walked more than one batter in any of his six Sun Belt Conference starts... Finished the year 6-5 with a 6.26 ERA.

As a junior (2007): Enjoyed a successful junior season in 2007, posting a 9-5 record and striking out 88 batters in 91+ innings of work... His nine wins was best on the FAU staff... Issued just 21 walks... Posted back-to-back complete game Sun Belt victories against Arkansas State (3/30) and Louisiana-Monroe (4/6), while giving up a total of 13 hits and three runs with 20 strikeouts... Fanned a season and career high 13 batters in that win over ASU... Used as both a starter and reliever as a junior transfer, saving three games.

Summer League: Played for the Prairie Gravel in the Chicago Suburban Baseball League with senior FAU classmate Alex Silversmith and former FAU pitcher Anthony Bradley.

JUCO: A JUCO All-American at Gadsden State Community College under Bill Lockridge... Alabama Junior College Player of the Year as a sophomore and an All-Region selection as a freshman... Posted a 19-5 record and 1.81 ERA in two seasons.

High School: Played for Mike Notaro at Tuscaloosa Academy... Holds the record for most wins and strikeouts in the state after posting a career record of 49-9 with 520 strikeouts... Four-time All-State recipient and player of the year his senior season.

Personal: Social studies major... Born Sept. 26, 1985, in Birmingham, AL... Brother Mark Obradovich has played in the minor leagues in the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians organizations... Great uncle Ed Obradovich played in the NFL as a defensive end for the Chicago Bears from 1962 to 1971 and was a member of the 1963 World Champion Team.
