Senior Pitcher Spent 10 Days Overseas as part of Birthright Israel

2017 (Junior)

  • Was a mainstay in the Owls' rotation. In 15 starts, he led the team with seven wins and 75 strikeouts (tied for fourth and tied for 12th, respectively, in Conference USA)
  • Overall record was 7-4 with a 4.88 ERA, in 86 2/3 innings (eighth in C-USA)
  • Of his 75 K's, 24 were looking, tied for sixth in the league
  • Earned Conference USA Pitcher of the Week honors after the regular season finale victory over Old Dominion, when he pitched eight innings of shutout baseball, walking no Monarchs and striking out five (May 20)
  • In his Owls' debut, earned his first win by striking out eight Monmouth hitters, allowing just an unearned run on three hits (March 18)
  • Followed that up the following week with an eight-inning win vs. Indiana, giving up five hits and two runs with seven punchouts (March 25)
  • Had back-to-back starts giving up just one run, in eight innings vs. FIU (April 30) and 5 2/3 at Southern Miss (May 7)
  • Closed the year with another sterling effort against ODU, in the Conference USA Championships, pitching 7 1/3 innings of four-hit, two-run baseball, with five K's

Prior to FAU

  • Earned multiple accolades at Walters State for coach David Shelton
  • Was National JUCO Pitcher of the Year and TCCAA Pitcher of the Year
  • Chosen as First Team All-American and First Team All-Conference
  • Went 13-1 in 17 games, 15 starts, while striking out 127 batters in 79.2 innings pitched
