Summer League ('03): Compiled a .239 batting average while playing for the Luray Wranglers in the Valley League...led the squad with seven doubles and finished with two home runs and one triple.

Summer League ('02): Played for the Bethesda Big Train in the Clark C. Griffith League under Derek Hacopian...was named Co-MVP after compiling a .346 average with seven doubles and three triples. "Hutton had the quickest hands of any Big Train hitter. He has the potential to play at the next level," said Hacopian.
As a Freshman ('02): Played in 59 games and started 51...became an everyday fixture at second midway through the season...led the team with 13 sacrifice hits...tallied three RBI in four games...recorded four hits against Belmont, including an inside-the-park home run...was second on the team in stolen bases (10)...completed the season with 13 multiple hit and eight multiple RBI games...named to the A-Sun Freshmen Team...selected to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen Honorable Mention All-American Team.
