Junior (2011):First team All-South Central Region selection after leading the Sun Belt Conference with 10 saves...first team All-Sun Belt Conference selection...appeared in a career-high 28 games, posting a 0-1 record with a 3.44 earned run average...seven of the 10 saves came in league play...recorded 29 strikeouts compared to just seven walks in 36.2 innings pitched...had first save of the season against Middle Tennessee State (3/26)...followed it up with a save against Bethune-Cookman (3/30)...recorded more than three outs in four of his 10 saves...struck out a season-best four batters in two shutout innings against Monmouth (3/5)...made 10 consecutive appearances without allowing a run (4/12-5/17)...tossed two innings of middle relief to lead the Owls to a home victory over Miami (2/23)...the win marked the first time since 2001 that FAU had defeated Miami at home...he later pitched the ninth inning to preserve a win at Miami to win the season series over the Hurricanes for the first time since 1984...recorded his first hit and scored a run in Sun Belt Conference tournament game against Western Kentucky (5/25).
Sophomore (2010): Came on strong late in the season as a key component of the bullpen in FAU's Sun Belt championship season...appeared in 20 games, all out of the bullpen, and went 6-1 with a 7.09 ERA...the six victories tied for the most among FAU relievers...struck out 23 batters in 38.1 innings...held opposing hitters to a .229 batting average against with two outs...had six consecutive appearances without giving up an earned run (4/13 to 5/9)...pitched two innings and picked up the win in the Sun Belt tournament first-round game against Western Kentucky (5/26)...pitched 3.1 innings, recorded three strikeouts and picked up the victory in the NCAA regional game against Oregon State (6/6)...pitched for the champion Bethesda Big Train of the Cal Ripken Collegiate League over the summer...went 1-0 and did not allow an earned run in seven appearances...also recorded 19 strikeouts in 14.1 innings pitched with a .157 batting average against.
Freshman (2009): Key part of the FAU pitching staff as a true freshman...began the season as the closer and was terrific in his first five appearances, throwing five scoreless innings and earning three saves...saved his first three chances, helping FAU to a 13-3 early-season record...threw a spotless ninth inning at then-No. 17 Florida in Gainesville (3/4) to close out his fifth game as FAU won 7-6...picked up his first collegiate win on March 10 against a Monmouth team that would go on to qualify for the NCAA tournament...made his only start of the year in a midweek game against Bethune-Cookman (4/15) at FAU Stadium, and had a no-hitter working into the fifth inning...was used in each of FAU's last two weekend series as a set-up man and finished the year with 22 appearances, which was tied for third-highest among any FAU pitcher...struck out a season-high three batters in a late-season appearance vs. FGCU (5/12).
High School: Standout pitcher at St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C., playing for Head Coach Mark Gibbs...began his senior campaign in 2008 at St. John's 3-0 with a 1.10 ERA...went on to earn all-conference honors for the third straight year.
