Impressive two-year career at FAU, hitting .317 with 18 HRs and 87 RBI in 111 games

Senior (2009): | Season Stats | Couldn't have started the season better, hitting homeruns in his first two at-bats against Fordham (2/20) during an opening-night victory at FAU Stadium... would lead the team in homers (9) and doubles (19)... slugged .545 and drove in 41 runs and totaled 62 hits... started 50 times as the DH and once in left field... hit clean-up 25 times... hit .326 with runners on base and .323 with RISP... an injury kept Hatcher out of the lineup for one week early in the season... returned at full-strength in mid-March to reel-off an eight-game hitting streak... went 16-for-33 (.485 BA) during that eight-game stretch from March 10-23... had a career-high six RBI, hitting two homers and a double during a 4-for-5 afternoon against South Alabama (4/4)... homered in back-to-back games at Troy (Apr. 11-12)... hit six doubles in eight games from April 18-May 1... went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double to help FAU beat Western Kentucky (4/24)... drove in four, hitting a homer and double against FGCU (5/12)... hit a game-winning double against FIU (5/16) in the bottom of the 12th inning, allowing FAU a series win which would prove to clinch the team of a postseason playoff berth... hit a pair of doubles and went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in FAU's postseason win over FIU (5/21) in Troy, Alabama.
