Summer League: Played for the Nevada (MO) Griffons in the Jayhawk League. 2003: A red-shirt at Florida State. High School: Attended Coral Springs High School and played for Frank Bumbales...holds the school record for wins and strikeouts...four-time All-County selection...in 2000 played for the Youth National Team which won the Pan-American Youth Baseball Championship in Monterrey, Mexico.
