Summer League (`02): Played for the Peninsula Oilers in the Alaskan Collegiate League...batted .223 with 23 hits, 9 RBI and five doubles.

As a junior (`02): Played second base before moving over to third...only missed one start during the season due to a hand injury...led the team with 18 home runs...Cox got off to a hot start as he collected 11 homers and 29 RBI in his first 23 games at FAU...had two games with multiple homers and they came in back-to-back games against Kansas State (3/16) and Cornell (3/17)...finished second on the team with a .590 slugging percentage...ranked in the top-5 in the conference in runs scored (5th), hits (5th), RBIs (2nd), HR (1st), Total Bases (4th)...completed 20 multiple hit and 15 multiple RBI games...held a 13-game hitting streak during the season...named Second Team All-Conference and to the A-Sun All-Tournament and NCAA All-Regional Teams.
