Summer League ('03): Played in the Coastal Plains League for the Peninsula Pilots...finished the summer with a .256 average and led the squad with four home runs and 25 RBI.

As a Junior ('03): Enters the 2004 season ninth in career games played (177), 10th in games started (147), 10th in home runs (26), sixth in RBI (141), ninth in total bases (298), third in putouts (880) after he finished second on the team with a .368 batting average and led the team in conference play with a .398 average, 38 RBI and 10 doubles and was named First-Team All-Conference...with runners on base he hit .428, and with runners in scoring position he posted a .407 average...his 85 hits places him fifth in FAU's single season records and his 66 RBI puts him in sixth...second on the team with 28 multiple hit games and led in multiple RBI games with 27, seven more than the next player...took a run at the FAU hitting streak record when he hit safely in 18 consecutive games...his season-high five RBI and five hits came in a 5-for-6 outing against Stetson, a game that clinched the A-Sun title for FAU...named A-Sun Player-of-the-Week after he hit .500 (7-for-14) with two home runs and six RBI for the week of March 10...voted Second-Team Atlantic Region.

Summer League ('02): Played for the Manchester Silkworms in the New England Collegiate Baseball League under Anthony Dicicco...led the team in doubles and was second in home runs and RBI...held a .220 average in 127 at bats.

As a Sophomore ('02): Was one of the team's biggest offensive threats...played 19 games at third before moving to first, where he played 45 games...finished the season fourth in home runs (11) despite 40 less at bats than the team's top home run hitters...held a .608 slugging percentage to lead the team...was named to the All-Regional team after posting a .461 average with three homers and five RBI in four games...hit home runs in three consecutive games twice during the year, once in the NCAA Regional and the other streak came in conference games against Stetson and Campbell...produced 18 multiple hit and 10 multiple RBI A-Sun play led the team with seven homers and an .821 slugging percentage...batted .471 in Regional play, going 8-for-17 with three home runs and five RBI.

As a Freshman ('01): Saw time at first and third before becoming a permanent fixture on the left side...had six multiple hit and multiple RBI games...held a .310 average in conference play while hitting .326 against lefties for the season...had a game-high three RBI versus Campbell...hit a two-run homer against Stetson in the first round of the A-Sun Tournament to give FAU a 2-1 win...named to the A-Sun All-Freshmen Team and the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American Honorable Mention Team.

Summer League ('00): Played for the Southwest Florida Baseball captured the 2000 USSSA National Championship.

High School: Played for Gary Kamphouse, an FAU alum, at N. Fort Myers High School...earned a spot on the All-Area team as both a junior and senior...member of the All-Conference team as a senior...hit .429 in 2000 with 14 doubles, five home runs, 41 hits and 40 RBI...set a school record for hits and doubles...member of the Bud Roth All-Tournament Team and was the tournament MVP...two-sport athlete: baseball and basketball.

Personal: Business major...son of Bob Brown and Terry McCarthy...born August 19, 1981 in Ft. Myers, FL...older brother Kevin played for the University of Miami's National Championship team.
