Summer League ('03): Played for the New Market Rebels with Robert Orton in the Valley League under Ray Hedrick and advanced to the League Championship before falling in the fifth game of the championship series...earned a start in the All-Star game after posting a .222 average with six doubles, two home runs and was third on the team with 20 RBI.

As a Junior ('03): Saw action in 56 games, 50 at shortstop, three at second base, three pinch hitting appearances and one in the outfield...his appearance in the outfield came against Jacksonville State in the bottom of the 12th inning when he was brought in as a fifth infielder...one of his four multiple RBI games came against Samford when he recorded a season-high four RBI...his season-high three hits came at Miami in the regular season and against Florida in the Regional...his only home run of the season came in a 5-4 win over Jacksonville...in conference play Brannon batted .329 with 13 RBI and was third on the team with 13 walks and was named Second-Team All-Conference.
