High School: Played for Jeff Rosa at Gulf Coast HS...batted .387 with 20 runs scored, 21 RBI, nine doubles and 11 stolen bases during his junior season...also went 6-4 with 97 strikeouts and a 2.95 ERA in 64 innings pitched...varsity baseball MVP, All-Area, All-Conference and an All-SWFL selection for three-straight seasons...honorable mention All-State Class 5A his freshman and sophomore seasons...3rd Team All-State Class 5A his junior season....ranked as the 447th best prospect in the nation according to Perfect Game USA.
Coach's Comment: "Bo is a good athlete and an even better competitor. He is an outstanding left-handed pitcher who comes right at you and wants the ball in all situations. He has pitched in several big games for Gulf Coast High School and has done well in all of them. Bo helps you win in several different ways. He also plays the outfield and has a chance to be a two-way player for the Owls."
