Summer League (`01): Played in the Cape Code League for the Hyannis Mets. Fifth on the team with a .233 batting average. Recorded one home run and five RBI.

As a Junior (`01): Took advantage of the opportunity to step into the starting lineup after losing players to graduation. Led the team in multiple hit games (22) and multiple RBI games (15). Was also first in runs (53), home runs (13), RBI (54), total bases (126) and stolen bases (19-23). Hit two homers against Jacksonville State on April 7. Third on the team with a .326 average. Played well in big games. Against 19th ranked Oklahoma State went 3-4 with two doubles and a home run while driving in six runs. For his efforts he was named Player-of-the-Week in the Atlantic Sun conference. Biernbaum also had a big outing against no. 10 Notre Dame going 3-4 with three singles. Was the only FAU player to be named First-Team All-Conference.

Summer League (`00): Played for Front Royal Cardinals in the Valley League. Led the team in batting average and played center field. Made the All-Star team.

As a Sophomore (`00): Played in 38 games with eight starts. Used primarily as a pinch hitter and a dh. Also played both first and right. Had two games with two or more hits. Two games with two or more RBIs. Including a 2-for-5 performance against Hofstra, which included five RBIs and two homers. Hit a pinch hit two-run double which hugged the third base line in the ninth to tie Stetson at the A-Sun Tournament.

As a Freshman ('99): Saw time at first and in the outfield. Played in 20 games with three starts. Ended the season with a .333 batting average. Had three games with multiple hits. Was 2-for-3 against Maine with a run scored.. 2-for-2 against Monmouth with two runs scored, an RBI and a triple. Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored against Cornell.

High School: Played for Pete Lucente at Council Rock High School. Named first team All-League, First-Team All-Area and Second-Team Southeastern PA. Two-sport athlete: baseball and basketball.

Summer (`98, `99): Played for Mike Gossner. AAABC team (Phillies) finished second in the World Series. Captured the batting title.

Personal: Communication major. Son of Barry and Andrea Biernbaum. Born July 30, 1979 in Fountain Valley, CA.
